WHO WE ARE

Our Mission

The Fayette County Community Theatre strives to enrich, educate, and entertain our community by inviting individuals to both attend and participate in high quality theatrical productions.

Our History

Established as a 501(c)(3) in 2016, Fayette County Community Theatre (FCCT) is a nonprofit organization providing high-quality performing arts and theatre education to local rural community members. FCCT is a primarily volunteer organization that relies heavily on the personal time and resources of community members to ensure the organization’s mission of enriching Fayette County through entertainment and education.

Our Upcoming Shows

A Readers' Theatre Collaboration with The Texas Quilt Museum

Join us February 8th and 9th at the Texas Quilt Museum for a special Reader's Theater performance of The Patchwork Quilt by Rachel Field. Tickets are available at HERE.

We will visit Mrs. Willis, a recent widow, and her daughter Anne and son-in-law Joe who are trying to coax from her dementia-riddled mind where she might have put the deed to her home and property. It needs to be located in order to sell the farm to a developer with plans to build a hotel on the property.

Mrs. Willis remembers fondly sewing her old patchwork quilt and tells her granddaughter all the memories and importance each unique square holds.
