WHO WE ARE
Our Mission
The Fayette County Community Theatre strives to enrich, educate, and entertain our community by inviting individuals to both attend and participate in high quality theatrical productions.
Our History
Established as a 501(c)(3) in 2016, Fayette County Community Theatre (FCCT) is a nonprofit organization providing high-quality performing arts and theatre education to local rural community members. FCCT is a primarily volunteer organization that relies heavily on the personal time and resources of community members to ensure the organization’s mission of enriching Fayette County through entertainment and education.

2023 Season
Monthly Open Mic Nights the 3rd Thursday of each month and Spring/Summer Second Saturday Sessions will start back up in March 2023!
Full length productions:
May 5-7 —Drinking Habits Audition Dates: March 19 & 20 - Accusations, mistaken identities, and romances run wild in this traditional, laugh-out-loud farce. Two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing have been secretly making wine to keep the convent's doors open, but Paul and Sally, reporters and former fiancées, are hot on their trail. They go undercover, and combined with the addition of a new nun, spur paranoia throughout the convent that spies have been sent to shut them down. Wine and secrets are inevitably spilled as everyone tries to preserve the convent & reconnect with lost loves.
Middle School/High School Week-Long Workshop
June 12th-16th This workshop showcases all foundations of theatre production, from script writing to make-up, lights and sound to acting. AND it’s so much fun! Students will end the week with a showcase of monologues.
August 4-6—Back to the 80s (Student Production)
Audition Dates June 19 & 20 - Hold on to your hoverboards, we're taking a trip Back to the 80s! When modern teen Mary Fitzfry gets sent back in time by an eccentric professor, she finds herself in the middle of a totally tubular cavalcade of 80s pop culture. There are a lot of familiar faces in this hilarious parody to make all ages cheer "I love the 80s!"
November 3-5—Harvey Audition dates September 10 & 11 - Elwood P. Dowd insists on including his friend Harvey in all of his sister Veta’s social gatherings. Trouble is, Harvey is an imaginary six-and-a-half-foot-tall rabbit. To avoid embarrassment for her family, Veta decides to have Elwood committed to a sanitarium. There, a frantic Veta explains to staff that her years of living with Elwood’s hallucination have caused her to see Harvey also, and so the doctors mistakenly commit her instead of her mild-mannered brother.
