Western Drama Set for Fall Production

Four Old Broads

Our newest production, Four Old Broads by Leslie Kimbell!

This is a FayCo PlayCo production. FayCo PlayCo is a division of Fayette County Community Theatre working to produce plays that have small sets, small casts, might be bolder and more provocative than main stage plays, and are performed at a variety of venues.

Four sassy senior ladies: Beatrice, Eaddy, Imogene, and Maude need a break from bingo and macramé. They want to take a Caribbean cruise. Unfortunately, things have not been pleasant at Magnolia Place Assisted Living since nasty nurse Pat came to work there. A mystery unfolds with laughter as the gals try to outsmart her while preparing for a beauty contest and navigating new romances!

This particular play contains adult themes and language. Think Golden Girls-ish, maybe a little more adult.

Lantern Tour

A young scholar from New York City travels west in search of a new life. He arrives beaten and half-dead on the dusty streets of Twotrees. Rescued from the plains, the town soon becomes his home as he finds the love of a local woman. This love gives him purpose in a broken land, but is it enough to save him from the vicious outlaw who wants him dead? This play is a classic western, a tale of good versus evil.
